Life Skills GO Demonstration

By the Time It Shows Up in Attendance or Behaviour, Staff Are Often Already Finding Out Too Late.

Join Marcus Barr from Life Skills GO for a live walkthrough of the whole-school platform built with more than 1,000 Australian schools, to see what patterns, trends and emerging concerns may sit beneath attendance, behaviour and engagement, before they escalate.

Sound Familiar?

This Is What We Keep Hearing From School Leaders

Before schools ever see the platform, this is what they tell us they are already dealing with. If any of this sounds like your staffroom, this session was built for you.

"We know a lot about our kids, but we can also miss a lot of things, because there are so many of them. The loudest voice gets heard the most."

Common theme from Deputy Principals and Learning Support Leaders

"There are always kids who fly under the radar, and it is not until something big happens that we find out what has been going on in their world."

Common theme from Principals and Wellbeing Leaders

"It is always the reactive stuff. That kid hit that kid, that kid yelled at that kid. We are recording it after the event, not before it is too late."

Common theme from Wellbeing and Learning Support staff

"Someone is collecting the attendance data and someone else is collecting the behaviour data, and often nobody is looking at the two together."

Common theme from Executive teams

"Ask the question. Find out why the student is not attending, instead of just sending another letter home."

Common theme from Attendance and Wellbeing Leaders

"It has been the one thing missing from our reporting for the last two or three years. We have always talked about needing a better way to collect it."

What We'll Cover in This Live Demonstration

This is a working demonstration, not a pitch. Marcus will show the platform live and answer questions from your own school's context along the way.

1

The daily student check-in

A live look at how students check in in under a minute, sharing an emotion, the context behind it and a readiness to learn score, not just a single data point.

2

The classroom view teachers open every morning

How a teacher can see a live, automatically organised summary of their class, with visual indicators that may help identify which students need a closer look today.

3

Whole-school visibility for leadership

Real-time data at student, class and whole-school level, with patterns across cohorts that may be worth a closer look before they escalate.

4

The individual learner profile

How recent check-ins and longer-term trends sit side by side for one student, building a picture over time rather than a single snapshot.

5

Reporting built for the conversations you already have

Exportable reports and AI-generated trend summaries that may support strategic planning, resourcing conversations and accountability, without a new spreadsheet to maintain.

6

Getting started

What onboarding looks like once your school is live, and the ongoing support available as staff and students settle into the routine.

Who Should Attend

Built for Anyone Who Carries Student Wellbeing, Attendance or Behaviour

Whether you are exploring this for the first time or gathering information before a bigger conversation with your executive, this session is designed to be useful either way.

Principals & Deputy Principals

Weighing this up against school planning, budgets and reporting requirements.

Wellbeing & Learning Support Leaders

Looking for a more consistent way to notice concerns before they escalate.

Classroom Teachers

Wanting a realistic, low-admin way to know how students are arriving each day.

System & Network Leaders

Comparing patterns and trends across more than one school or setting.

What You'll Walk Away With

By the End of the Session You'll Be Able To

See exactly what Life Skills GO looks like day to day, for teachers, wellbeing teams and executive staff.

Understand how it works alongside systems you already use, such as School Bytes, Compass or Central, rather than replacing them.

See real example reports you can hold up against your own annual report or school planning cycle.

Get straight answers to the questions other schools ask before trialling: cost, workload, data ownership and timeframes.

Questions Other Schools Ask

Will this create more work for our teachers?
No. The session will show how student check-in data is gathered without teachers needing to manually log observations, and how reports are surfaced automatically rather than built by hand.
We already use School Bytes, Compass or Central. Do we need another system?
Life Skills GO is designed to sit inside the systems your school already uses, not to create a new team, a new login or a new process to maintain.
Is this just another wellbeing survey?
No. The session will show the difference between a once-a-year, deidentified survey and a regular student check-in that surfaces patterns and trends as they emerge.
We do not have major behaviour issues at our school. Is this still relevant?
Yes. A lot of the interest we see comes from schools whose behaviour and attendance numbers already look fine, but who want a better way to notice the students who do the right thing and do not draw attention to themselves.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on your school's size and sector. Marcus can talk through indicative pricing during the session or in a follow-up conversation afterwards.
Can we trial it before committing?
Trial options are available for schools who want to test the platform with a small cohort first. This can be discussed at the end of the session or in a follow-up conversation.
What happens if I cannot attend the live session?
Register anyway. A recording will be sent to everyone who registers, whether or not you can attend live.
Seats are limited for each live session
