Webinar Replay How to Implement & Measure Whole School Wellbeing

The increasing interest in wellbeing in education is driven by two main reasons: a) the large amount of robust research indicating various benefits associated with higher levels of wellbeing and b) preliminary research suggesting that aspects of wellbeing and resilience can be taught.

Life Skills Group has spent 12 years partnering with primary schools teaching and measuring wellbeing. Our experience has shown us that whole school wellbeing practices are the most effective when wellbeing is explicitly taught with regular assessment and evaluation of progress.

Our partner schools have found that a wellbeing focus can result in significant improvements across student attendance, engagement and overall wellbeing. Lalor Park Public School (NSW) has found improvements in student wellbeing through embedding wellbeing practices across all levels of the school. Athol Road Primary School (VIC) has seen success in delivering their whole school wellbeing framework through the blended online learning lessons and measurement provided by Life Skills GO.

In this webinar, recorded on Wednesday 12 May 2021, CEO and Founder Nikki Bonus invites Deanne Taylor, Principal at Lalor Park Public School (NSW), and Natasha Moshinsky, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker at Athol Road Primary School (VIC), to discuss their whole school wellbeing practices which continue to deliver measurable improvements in student wellbeing and engagement.

In this webinar, Life Skills Group CEO and Founder Nikki Bonus, Lalor Park Principal Deanne Taylor and Athol Road Primary School Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Natasha Moshinsky discuss:

  • Their strategic and planned approaches to whole school wellbeing
  • What data they used to inform their strategic direction and evaluate outcomes contributing to whole-school wellbeing
  • How to start measuring wellbeing effectively
  • How Life Skills Group helps with whole-school wellbeing implementation & measurement
